Advising Appointments (30 mins max.)Advising appointments are 30-minute meetings for more in-depth advising. If you have several questions and/or wish to spend more time working with an advisor, please schedule an appointment with the appropriate type of advisor.

All peer advising appointments are offered remotely via Zoom. You will receive a link for the Zoom meeting in an automated appointment confirmation email from OASIS.

All academic advising appointments are held remotely via Zoom or over the phone for Fall 2025.

How to Schedule An Appointment

Please note that we only schedule advising appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify gdb-advise@ucdavis.edu at least two hours before your scheduled appointment.

Peer Advising

  1. See current peer advising appointment availability below.
  2. Request an appointment by sending an email to gdb-advise@ucdavis.edu with your name, SID, advising question, and several days and times of availability based on current advising hours.

Grace - Academic Advisor

  1. Visit appointments.ucdavis.edu.
  2. Click "Get Scheduled."
  3. Select "Plant Pathology, Nematology and Entomology Advising Center."
  4. Choose your major ("Global Disease Biology").
  5. Enter your contact information.
  6. Select a day, time, and type of appointment.

If you do not see any availability in the system, please email gdb-advise@ucdavis.edu with your name, SID, advising concern, and several options of your availability.
